How we check and rate

Slot reviews

For every slot we record the developer, default RTP, volatility, layout, ways to win and maximum win. Each must be confirmed by at least two independent sources. We quote the developer's default RTP and note lower versions where they are reported. If sources conflict, as with Sweet Bonanza's RTP, we show the range. If a detail cannot be confirmed, as with Fluffy Favourites' release year, we leave it out.

We check which version a figure belongs to. Some published RTPs apply only to feature-buy versions not offered in Britain, and we do not use them.

Slot site scores

Each site receives five scores out of 10, averaged and shown out of 5.

• Welcome offer. No wagering scores highest; 10x lowest. Entry cost, time allowed and simplicity adjust it.
• Slots and games. Reported library size and studio range, using the lower figure where sources differ.
• Live casino. Studios and tables reported.
• Payments. Minimum deposit, methods, reported withdrawal times.
• Mobile. Availability of apps.

Offer scores rest on the casinos' published terms. The rest rely on recent independent reviews. We have not opened real-money accounts to test deposits or withdrawals, and we mark second-hand details as reported.

Licences

Every operator is checked on the Gambling Commission public register for an active remote casino licence and an active domain. The account number and register link are on each slot site review.

Commission

We may earn commission when you join a casino through our links. The sites featured are our commercial partners. Commission does not alter a score, a slot figure or the order of a list. See the advertiser disclosure.
