Ladbrokes login problems usually have a quick fix: log in with your registered email if you've forgotten your username, reset a lost password through 'I forgot my Password' with an SMS PIN or email link, and check your inbox if the account itself has been restricted. Below, each problem is sorted by the stage where sign-in fails.
A forgotten username isn't a problem: Ladbrokes accepts your registered email address instead.
Password resets use an SMS PIN, with an email link if no mobile is registered or the text fails.
Ladbrokes doesn't publish a lockout limit or a two-factor setting, so reset rather than keep guessing.
Time-outs and self-exclusions are deliberate blocks that support can't lift early.
The same details work on ladbrokes.com and in the Ladbrokes casino app.

Ladbrokes login problems in one minute
Ladbrokes, like its sister brand Coral, is run by LC International Limited under UK Gambling Commission account 54743, and its help centre covers sign-in in a handful of short articles. Pulling them together gives a simple rule of thumb: if the problem is your details, you can fix it yourself in a few minutes; if the problem is the account's status, you need to read what Ladbrokes has emailed you or contact support.
The rest of this page works through the three points where a log-in can fail: before you reach the log-in box, at the log-in box, and after you're in. Our Ladbrokes slots review covers the casino itself.
Stage one: Ladbrokes won't load or the log-in box won't appear
If you can't even reach the sign-in form, the account isn't the issue yet. The usual culprits are a weak connection, an old version of the app, or browser data getting in the way.
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out the network.
Update the Ladbrokes casino app from the App Store or Google Play; the iPhone version needs iOS 18.0 or later.
In a browser, clear cookies for the site or try a different browser.
Pause ad-blockers or privacy extensions, which can stop log-in pop-ups opening.
Try the other route: if the app fails, the website may work, and vice versa.
If games load slowly after you're logged in, that's a separate issue. Our answer on a slot game not loading explains the causes.
Stage two: username or password rejected
Forgotten Ladbrokes username
Ladbrokes' help article on usernames is one line long, and it's the fix: if you forget your username, log in with your registered email address instead. Type the email into the username box with your usual password.
Forgotten Ladbrokes password
The reset route, as Ladbrokes' help centre describes it:
Select Log In on the home page or in the app, then choose 'I forgot my Password'.
Submit the personal details the form requests.
If your account has a mobile number, opt to receive a PIN by text and enter it on the forgotten-password page.
If there's no mobile on the account, you'll be sent an email link to reset the password.
Text not arrived? Choose 'Resend Code'. If it still doesn't come after several attempts, a reset email goes to your registered address.
Check spam and junk if the email doesn't appear, then choose a new password used nowhere else.
Stage three: logged in, but the account is restricted
Some log-in failures are really a status on the account. Ladbrokes doesn't publish a full list, but at UK-licensed sites these are the usual types, and each has a different way out.
Three common Ladbrokes sign-in situations, worked through
You've changed your mobile number
The reset PIN goes to the old number and never arrives. Choose 'Resend Code' a few times; after several failed attempts, Ladbrokes sends a reset email instead. Once you're in, update the mobile number in your account so future resets reach you.
You're on holiday outside Great Britain
Your details are right, but you can't play. Ladbrokes' casino licence covers Great Britain, and UK operators usually restrict access from other countries. Wait until you're home; don't try a VPN, which can breach the terms. Our answer on playing UK slot sites abroad has more.
You come back after a long break
You may have forgotten both username and password, and the account may have been marked inactive. Log in with your email, reset the password if needed, and if the account still won't open, contact Ladbrokes support to ask about its status.
What Ladbrokes publishes about log-in security, and what it doesn't
It helps to know which answers are confirmed and which you'll have to ask about. This is what we found in Ladbrokes' help centre and app listings in October 2026.

Two-step protection you can add yourself
Without a published two-factor setting, the strongest protection comes from the two things a reset depends on: your email inbox and your phone number.
Turn on two-step verification for the email account registered with Ladbrokes.
Keep a screen lock on your phone, since reset PINs arrive there.
Use a password that's unique to Ladbrokes, ideally from a password manager.
Change it if you've reused it anywhere that's had a data breach.
Ignore messages asking you to 'verify' your Ladbrokes log-in through a link; open the app or type the address yourself.
One Ladbrokes account across the app and website
The Ladbrokes slots app and ladbrokes.com share one account: same details, same balance, same limits and the same verification status. A password reset on the website works in the app straight away.
That also gives you a quick diagnostic. If one route works and the other doesn't, the account is fine and the fault is local: update or reinstall the app, or clear the browser's cookies. If both fail, the issue is your details or the account status, so go back to stage two or three.
Contacting Ladbrokes about a log-in problem
Ladbrokes' help articles point unresolved log-in issues to its Contact Us page, and its published support email is support@ladbrokes.com. Our Ladbrokes customer service page lists every channel we could confirm.
Before you get in touch, note your full name, date of birth, postcode, the email you think you registered with and any error message you saw. Support will never need your password, so don't share it.
If a self-exclusion or time-out is the reason you can't log in, it's working as designed. Free, confidential help is available from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 and from GamCare.

Frequently asked questions
Why won't Ladbrokes let me log in?
Usually it's a forgotten or mistyped password, a forgotten username, or a restriction on the account. Try logging in with your registered email address in place of your username, which Ladbrokes' help centre confirms works. If the password is the problem, reset it through 'I forgot my Password'. If your details are accepted but you still can't play, look for an email from Ladbrokes about verification, a time-out or self-exclusion. The Ladbrokes verification page explains what documents may be needed and why.
How do I reset my Ladbrokes password?
Select Log In, then 'I forgot my Password', and submit the personal details requested. If your account has a mobile number, you can have a PIN texted to you and enter it on the reset page; if not, Ladbrokes emails you a reset link. If the text doesn't arrive, use 'Resend Code', and after several failed attempts a reset email is sent to your registered address. Check your spam folder if you can't find it. The new password works in the app and on the website. See our Ladbrokes slots app guide for app sign-in.
I've forgotten my Ladbrokes username. What now?
You can skip it. Ladbrokes' help centre says that if you forget your username, you can simply log in with your registered email address instead, using your normal password. If your email isn't recognised, you may have signed up with a different address, so try any others you've used. If that fails, contact Ladbrokes through its Contact Us page or at support@ladbrokes.com rather than opening a second account, which breaks UK rules. Our Ladbrokes customer service page has the details.
How many wrong passwords before a Ladbrokes account locks?
Ladbrokes doesn't publish a number. Many UK casinos apply a temporary block after a short run of failed attempts, but the threshold and length vary between operators and we couldn't confirm Ladbrokes' figures. The sensible approach is to stop guessing after two or three tries and use 'I forgot my Password' instead, which avoids extending any block. If you're told the account is locked, contact support. For comparison, our 10bet login problems page covers an operator that does publish its lockout rule.
Does Ladbrokes have two-factor authentication?
Ladbrokes' help centre doesn't describe a two-factor setting for logging in, so we can't confirm that one exists. Password resets use a PIN texted to your registered mobile, which adds a phone-based check to that process. To protect the account, turn on two-step verification for your email, keep a lock on your phone, keep your mobile number up to date and use a password unique to Ladbrokes. Our guide on how to check a slot site's licence helps you avoid fake look-alike sites.
Can I use my Ladbrokes login on the casino app?
Yes. The Ladbrokes casino app, listed as Ladbrokes Casino Games & Slots on iOS and Ladbrokes Casino Slots & Games on Android, uses the same account as ladbrokes.com. Your username or email and password work in both, and your balance, limits and verification status carry across. If the website accepts your details but the app doesn't, update or reinstall the app; the iPhone version needs iOS 18.0 or later. Our mobile slots hub covers browser play if your phone can't run the app.
Why can I log in to Ladbrokes but not play slots?
Being logged in doesn't mean the account can play. Common reasons are a pending verification request, a deposit limit you've reached, a time-out or a self-exclusion. UK stake limits may also stop certain bet sizes: online slot spins are capped at £5 for players aged 25 and over and £2 for those aged 18 to 24. Check Ladbrokes' emails for account notices. Our UK slot stake limits guide explains the age bands and why the buttons may be greyed out.
Can I log in to Ladbrokes while abroad?
Logging in may be possible, but playing is unlikely to be. Ladbrokes' casino is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission for players in Great Britain, and UK operators usually restrict play from other countries. Ladbrokes hasn't published a help page on location checks, though its iOS app's privacy label lists precise location as data not linked to you. Don't use a VPN to get round any block; masking your location can breach the terms. Our answer on playing UK slot sites abroad explains more.
Can Ladbrokes support remove a self-exclusion so I can log in?
No. A self-exclusion is designed so that it can't be reversed before the chosen period ends, whether you set it with Ladbrokes or through GAMSTOP, and support staff can't override it. Once the period is over, access can be restored, and GAMSTOP requires you to ask for removal. If you chose the exclusion because gambling was affecting you, that block is protecting you as intended. Free, confidential support is available on 0808 8020 133. Our guide to taking a break from slots explains the options.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
