Slot loyalty rewards are perks a casino gives regular players in return for play, usually as points, levels or money back that turn into spins, bonuses or cash. Their real value is normally a small fraction of a percent of what you stake. PlayOJO's OJOplus, Casumo's Adventure and Coral's reward features are the partner schemes listed in their app stores. 18+, terms apply.
Most loyalty schemes return well under 1% of the amount you stake.
Work out the earn rate and redemption rate to find a scheme's real value.
PlayOJO lists OJOplus money back; Casumo lists The Adventure and Trophy Collection; Coral lists Smart Rewards, Rewards Grabber and Coral Coins.
Bonuses redeemed from points can carry wagering, capped at 10x in the UK.
Loyalty rewards should never be a reason to play more often or for longer.

The three ways slot loyalty rewards are built
Behind the branding, almost every scheme is one of three models, or a mix. Spotting the model tells you how to value it.
Model
How you earn
What you get
How to value it
Points for stakes
Points per £ staked
Points swapped for cash, spins or bonus
Earn rate × redemption rate
Levels and achievements
Progress through levels or trophies
Rewards unlocked at milestones
Value of rewards ÷ stakes needed
Money back
A share of each stake returned
Cash or bonus credit
The percentage returned
All three reward volume. That's the trade at the heart of loyalty: the casino gives back a little of what it expects to earn from your play. Our slots cashback page looks at money-back schemes in more depth.

Earn and redeem maths for slot loyalty points
A points scheme has two rates: how many points you earn per pound staked, and how many points buy a pound of reward. Multiply them and you get the return. These examples are illustrative, not from any specific casino.

Reward on £1,000 staked

500 points = £1

£4
Compare that with the house edge. On a slot with 96% RTP, staking £1,000 costs about £40 on average. A 0.5% scheme returns £5 of that, leaving about £35. Loyalty points soften the cost of play; they don't cover it.
If points are redeemed as bonus funds rather than cash, subtract the average cost of any wagering too.
Levels, tiers and gamified rewards
Level-based schemes, such as the levelling avatar and trophy collection Casumo lists, reward progress rather than paying a fixed rate. Each level unlocks something, perhaps spins or a bonus, and the next level needs more play.
Progress is usually stake-based: levels track how much you play, sometimes alongside achievements in specific games.
Gaps tend to widen: later levels often need more play than early ones.
Rewards are fixed: a level reward is the same however quickly you reach it.
Value is unclear: without published thresholds, you can't easily convert a level into a percentage.
Gamified progress is designed to be engaging, which is exactly why it helps to judge it coolly. Ask what you'd receive and what it would cost in stakes on average. Casumo also lists Reel Races, a format covered on our slot tournaments page.
Reward currencies: coins, bucks and points
Some casinos pay loyalty in their own currency. The Coral app listing mentions Coral Coins, and the Ladbrokes app listing describes LadBucks as a reward currency used on arcade games. A currency adds a conversion step, and the value depends on what it buys.
If coins buy spins, value them as spins: number of spins × spin value × the slot's RTP. If they buy entries into games with random prizes, value them as the expected prize, which is harder to know. Our guide to working out free spins value covers the spin calculation.
Wagering on loyalty rewards
Rewards redeemed as cash or as no-wagering spins are worth their face value or close to it. Rewards redeemed as bonus funds aren't. Since 19 January 2026, UK bonus wagering can't exceed 10x.
Points expiry: unused points may expire after a period of inactivity.
Game contribution: some slots or game types earn fewer points, or none.
Bonus play: stakes made with bonus money may not earn points.
Changes: casinos can change or close schemes; points may not carry over.
Account closure: points usually go when an account is closed or self-excluded.
The game weighting entry explains why games contribute differently to bonus targets, and the same idea often applies to points.
How to work out what a slot loyalty scheme is worth
Find the earn rate in the scheme's terms (points or progress per £ staked).
Find the redemption rate (points per £ of reward).
Multiply to get the return as a percentage of stakes.
Adjust for the reward form: cash at face value, spins at RTP, bonus funds minus wagering cost.
Compare the result with the house edge on the slots you play.
Decide based on play you'd do anyway; never increase play to reach a threshold.
Loyalty rewards and keeping play in check
Loyalty schemes reward frequency and volume, the same patterns that safer gambling tools are designed to manage. Neither is a problem in itself, but it's sensible to set limits before engaging with any rewards programme.
Set a deposit limit, use reality checks, and notice if you're playing to reach the next level rather than for enjoyment. The National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) is free and open 24 hours a day.

Frequently asked questions
What are slot loyalty rewards?
Slot loyalty rewards are benefits casinos give existing customers in return for their play, such as points, levels or a share of stakes returned. Points and levels can usually be exchanged for spins, bonus funds or cash. The value is normally a small fraction of the amount staked, well below the house edge on slots. Our slot bonuses hub compares loyalty with other promotion types, and the cashback entry explains money-back schemes.
Which UK slot sites have loyalty schemes?
Among our partners, PlayOJO lists OJOplus money back on every game played, Casumo's app lists The Adventure and a Trophy Collection with a levelling avatar, Coral's app lists Smart Rewards, Rewards Grabber and Coral Coins, and Ladbrokes' app lists LadBucks for arcade games. 10bet's listing doesn't name a loyalty scheme. Rates and thresholds sit in each scheme's terms. Compare the sites on our slot sites hub or best slot sites UK page.
How much are casino loyalty points worth?
Usually between a small fraction of a penny and half a penny per pound staked, depending on the earn and redemption rates. A scheme giving 1 point per £1 and paying £5 per 1,000 points returns 0.5%, or £5 on £1,000 of stakes. On a 96% RTP slot, the same £1,000 costs about £40 on average, so points soften losses rather than offset them. Our house edge entry explains why.
Is PlayOJO's OJOplus a loyalty scheme?
It works like one. PlayOJO describes OJOplus as money back on every game played, which makes it a stake-based reward rather than a points scheme. The rate, eligible games and how it's paid are set in PlayOJO's own terms, so read those before relying on any figure. PlayOJO is run by Skill On Net Limited under UKGC account 39326. Our PlayOJO slots review and PlayOJO welcome offer pages cover the site.
Do loyalty rewards have wagering requirements?
Some do. Rewards paid as cash or no-wagering spins are worth close to face value. Rewards paid as bonus funds can carry wagering, which can't exceed 10x in Great Britain since 19 January 2026. A £10 bonus at 10x needs £100 of stakes, costing about £4 on average at 96% RTP. Always check how a reward is paid before redeeming points. The wagering requirement entry explains the term.
Do loyalty points expire?
Often, yes. Many schemes expire unused points after a period of inactivity, and points are usually lost if you close your account or self-exclude. Some schemes also reset levels periodically. Expiry rules are in each scheme's terms, so check them if you've built up a balance. Never play just to stop points expiring, as the cost of the extra play outweighs their value on average. Our bonus expiry entry covers expiry in general.
Are loyalty rewards better than a welcome bonus?
They're different. A welcome bonus is a one-off offer for new customers, usually the largest single deal a casino gives, such as Casumo's 50% up to £100. Loyalty rewards are small and ongoing, building with play over time. For an occasional player, the welcome offer is worth far more; loyalty matters mainly to people who play regularly anyway. Our slots welcome bonus page compares the five partner offers.
Do all slots earn the same loyalty points?
Not always. Some schemes give fewer points, or none, for certain games, and stakes made with bonus funds are often excluded. Jackpot slots and low-edge games are common exceptions. The scheme's terms list any contribution differences. Choose games for their own RTP and volatility rather than for their points rate. Our guide to choosing a slot and game weighting explain what matters.
Can loyalty schemes encourage problem gambling?
They can contribute, because they reward frequency and volume. Levels, streaks and currencies are designed to be engaging, and some players find themselves playing to reach the next reward. If that's happening, set a deposit limit, use reality checks or take a time-out. Free, confidential help is available from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
