The licence mix tells you what the site does. The casino licence covers slots and other casino games; the real-event betting licence covers bets on outcomes such as lottery draws; and the linked gambling software licence is a technical licence covering some of the gambling software it uses. Unlike many brands profiled in our slot site A–Z, Lottomart sits alone on its licence rather than alongside a family of sister sites.
Lottomart’s 2025 regulatory settlement
On 1 September 2025 Maple International Ventures agreed to pay £360,000 in lieu of a financial penalty, plus a divestment, the Commission’s costs and a public statement. A regulatory review, prompted by a compliance assessment of its remote licence, found failings in anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and social responsibility controls for its online casino and betting activities between June 2023 and October 2024.
Social responsibility controls include the checks operators must make when a customer’s spending or behaviour suggests possible harm. If you are asked for documents about your income or spending at any site, that is part of the same framework; see our guide to affordability checks on slot sites.
Lotto betting vs buying a lottery ticket
Lottomart’s name reflects its lottery-betting side, which is easy to confuse with buying an official ticket. They are different products:
Official lottery ticket

Who you deal with
The lottery operator
A licensed betting operator
What you buy
An entry in the draw
A bet on the draw’s result
Who pays winnings
The lottery’s prize fund
The betting operator

If you only want to play the National Lottery itself, buy from its official retailers or website. If you choose a lotto bet, read the bet’s rules for how prizes are calculated and capped.
How to tell which product you are playing
Read the product page heading: ‘bet on’ or ‘lotto bet’ indicates a bet with the operator, not a ticket.
Open the rules or terms for that game and find who pays the prizes.
Look for any maximum payout cap on large prizes.
Check the draw source the bet follows and when results are confirmed.
For slots, open the game’s help screen and note the RTP instead; slots are casino games, not draws.
Set a single account-wide deposit limit, since lotto bets and slots draw from the same balance.
Lottomart slots vs lotto bets: comparing the cost
The two products feel very different. A draw happens once or twice a week; a slot spin can happen every 2.5 seconds. That pace is the biggest driver of what each costs you.
Take a slot with a 96% RTP, such as Fishin’ Frenzy at its published 96.12%. Staking £10 in one draw-based bet is one event. Staking £10 on that slot at 10p is 100 spins, which takes about four minutes at the fastest legal pace, with a long-run average cost of about 39p. But slots invite repeat play: an hour at 10p could be up to 1,440 spins and £144 staked, an average cost of around £5.59. The per-pound cost of a slot can be lower than a draw-style product, yet the total cost of an hour can be far higher because so many more bets are placed. The guide to how slot RTP is calculated explains the long-run idea behind these averages.
UK slot rules on Lottomart
Slots on Lottomart must follow the UK design rules for online slots: no autoplay, no turbo or slam-stop, at least 2.5 seconds per spin, balance and net position always on screen, and no celebration of a return smaller than the stake. Stakes are capped at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for those aged 18 to 24, and bonus buy isn’t offered in Great Britain. Any bonus wagering is capped at 10x from 19 January 2026, and offers mixing betting with casino play are banned from that date, which is directly relevant to a site that sells both. See UK slot rule changes in 2026.
Big-prize thinking: jackpots, draws and the odds
Lottery products and jackpot slots share an appeal: a small stake, a very large top prize. In both, the large prize is extremely unlikely on any single go. On a progressive slot such as Mega Moolah, with a published 88.12% RTP including the jackpot share, the cost of that dream shows up as a lower return on every spin. For worked examples of that trade-off, read how progressive jackpots work.
Safer gambling tools at Lottomart
As a UK licensee, Maple International Ventures must provide deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion, and must take part in GAMSTOP. Because one balance can fund draws, bets and slots, a deposit limit covering the whole account is the simplest control. If gambling stops being fun, the National Gambling Helpline is available 24/7 on 0808 8020 133. Our safer gambling hub lists every tool and service.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns Lottomart?
Lottomart is run by Maple International Ventures Limited, a company based at Europort in Gibraltar and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission under account 51833. Its UK casino, real-event betting and linked gambling software licences have all been active since 20 July 2018. The register lists lottomart.com and lottomart.co.uk as active domains and lottomart.app as inactive. We couldn’t verify any wider parent group, so we don’t name one. Our licence check guide shows how to confirm these details.
Is Lottomart legit and licensed in the UK?
Lottomart is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission through Maple International Ventures Limited, account 51833, and its .com and .co.uk domains were listed as active in October 2026. That means UK rules on fair games, age checks, stake limits and safer gambling tools apply. The licensee agreed a £360,000 settlement in September 2025 over anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings, which is on the public record. Our explainer on whether online slots are random covers fair-game testing.
Why was Lottomart fined?
On 1 September 2025 Maple International Ventures agreed to pay £360,000 in lieu of a financial penalty, plus a divestment and the Commission’s costs. A review that followed a compliance assessment found failings in anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and social responsibility controls across its online casino and betting activities from June 2023 to October 2024. A public statement was also part of the outcome. To see how social responsibility checks affect players, read our guide to affordability checks.
Is a Lottomart lotto bet the same as a National Lottery ticket?
No. A lotto bet is a wager with a licensed betting operator on the result of a draw run by someone else. Winnings are paid by the betting operator under its own rules, which may cap large prizes, and no part of the stake goes to the lottery’s good causes. An official ticket is an entry in the draw itself, bought from the lottery operator or its retailers. Read the bet rules before placing one. Our guide to slot site payment methods covers how mixed-product balances are funded.
What are Lottomart’s sister sites?
The UK register lists only Lottomart addresses under Maple International Ventures Limited: lottomart.com and lottomart.co.uk as active, and lottomart.app as inactive. Unlike many operators that run a dozen brands on one licence, it has no other UK-facing brands on its account that we could find. If you are comparing operators with larger families, our profiles of Gala Casino and others in the brands A–Z show how shared licences work in practice.
Are slots or lotto bets better value?
Neither is a way to make money, and both carry a built-in margin for the operator. Per pound staked, a 96% RTP slot has a long-run average cost of about 4p, while lottery-style products often keep a larger share. But slots are far faster: up to 1,440 spins an hour at the minimum 2.5 seconds each, so the total cost of a session can be much higher. Value depends on how much you stake overall, not just the rate. Our slot budget guide helps you plan that.
What stake limits apply to Lottomart slots?
UK rules cap online slot stakes at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 per spin for those aged 18 to 24, rules that came into force in April and May 2025. They apply on Lottomart’s slots as on every other licensed site; betting products are not covered by the slot caps. Individual slots may set lower maximums, and an active bonus may impose its own limit. Our page on how much you can bet on slots explains the age bands.
Can Lottomart offer a bonus linking lotto bets and slots?
Not from 19 January 2026. From that date UK rules ban promotions that mix gambling products, such as staking on one product to unlock a reward on another, and cap bonus wagering at 10x. A site selling both lottery bets and slots must keep any offers within a single product. Every offer must still state its key terms, such as minimum deposit and expiry. Our guide to UK slot rule changes in 2026 explains both changes and why they were introduced.
How do I self-exclude from Lottomart?
You can self-exclude in Lottomart’s account or safer gambling settings, which blocks that brand. To block every UK-licensed online gambling site at once, register with GAMSTOP for six months, one year or five years; exclusions can’t be lifted early. Because lottery bets, casino games and slots share one account, an exclusion covers them all. For a shorter pause, a time-out is available instead. Each option is explained in how to self-exclude from slot sites.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
