Google Pay slot sites

Google Pay slot sites let Android users fund a casino balance from a debit card saved on their phone, and among the UK casinos we cover, Coral and Ladbrokes are the two that publish Google Pay rules. Both set a £5 minimum for deposits and withdrawals, and both send payouts back to the card behind Google Pay rather than to the app itself.

Key takeaways

  • Coral and Ladbrokes publish Google Pay with a £5 minimum deposit and £5 minimum withdrawal.
  • Withdrawals go to the debit card you registered in Google Pay, not to a Google balance.
  • £5 is enough to deposit, but the welcome spins at both sites need £10 staked on slots. 18+, terms apply.
  • Casumo, 10bet and PlayOJO don’t publish Google Pay, so check their cashiers before assuming it works.

Google Pay slot sites in the UK: the short answer

If you play on an Android phone, Ladbrokes and Coral are the clearest choices for Google Pay, because both help centres have a dedicated Google Pay page with limits and steps. The other three partners we cover don’t mention Google Pay in their published payment lists. That doesn’t prove it is missing, only that it isn’t confirmed, so open the cashier and look before you plan around it.

Google Pay, Google Wallet and what the casino actually sees

Google has used several names over the years, and in the UK you will see both Google Pay and Google Wallet on phones. Casinos still label the button Google Pay. Whatever the app is called, the payment works the same way: you save a bank card on the phone, and when you approve a payment, the merchant receives a token linked to that card instead of the long card number.

For a slot site this means the deposit behaves like a card deposit with an extra layer of verification on your phone. Coral’s help page says each Google Pay payment must be confirmed with a fingerprint, face unlock or the device passcode. The card underneath must be a debit card for UK gambling: credit cards have been banned for gambling since 14 April 2020, and the ban reaches credit cards used through digital wallets.

Coral’s Google Pay page still refers to withdrawals going to the debit or credit card used to deposit. For UK customers the credit card part no longer applies to new deposits, because the 2020 ban stops credit-funded gambling payments.

Google Pay limits at Coral and Ladbrokes

Coral’s Google Pay page sets a minimum of £5 and a maximum of £5,000 for both deposits and withdrawals, and accepts GBP, EUR and USD. Its general deposit page, however, gives a UK cap of £2,000 per deposit, and Ladbrokes publishes the same £2,000 cap. When two pages disagree, the cashier shows the limit that applies to your account, and for UK customers the lower figure is the one to expect.

How to deposit with Google Pay on Android

  1. Open Google Wallet and add your UK debit card; your bank may ask you to confirm it by text or in its app.
  2. Log in to the casino app or mobile site and open the cashier.
  3. Pick Google Pay, then enter or select the amount you set aside for this session.
  4. Tap the Google Pay button and check the card shown on the payment sheet.
  5. Approve with your fingerprint, face unlock or passcode.
  6. Look for the success message with a transaction ID; Coral says funds are credited instantly.

Coral’s help page describes Google Pay as available on Android phones and tablets for its casino, sports, poker and bingo products. The Coral and Ladbrokes casino apps are both on Google Play in Great Britain, published under LC International Limited and Ladbrokes Mobile Development respectively, according to their store listings. More on app choice is in our Ladbrokes app and Coral app pages.

The £5 minimum versus the £10 offer threshold

A £5 Google Pay minimum is useful for a short, low-stake session, but it sits below what the welcome offers ask for. Both Coral and Ladbrokes need you to stake £10 on slots before spins are released. Here is how three deposit sizes play out at Ladbrokes, 18+ and terms apply.

DepositCan you stake £10 on slots?Outcome
£5No, unless you add a second depositNo welcome spins from this deposit alone
£10Yes, if you play the full £10 on slots50 spins a day at 10p for up to 10 days (max 500), no wagering
£20Yes, with £10 left overSame spins; the rest is your own cash to play or withdraw

At 10p each, 50 daily spins carry £5 of stake value, and the full 500 carry £50, claimed from the inbox before 23:59 each day and valid for 7 days. Coral’s 100 spins at 10p carry £10 of value, accepted within 48 hours and valid 7 days. Neither requires wagering on spin winnings. If you only ever want to deposit a fiver, our £5 deposit slots page explains what that budget can and can’t do.

Where Google Pay withdrawals actually land

Choosing Google Pay as a withdrawal method doesn’t put money into the Google app. Coral’s page explains that payouts go to the card you used through Google Pay, so the money appears on your bank statement. Withdrawals can be requested from desktop, the mobile site or the Android app, which is handy if you deposited on your phone but prefer to manage payouts on a laptop.

Neither Coral nor Ladbrokes publishes a Google Pay-specific payout time. Both describe a review stage followed by anything from instant to five banking days depending on method. Their Visa Fast Funds route is described as typically reaching the bank within about four hours of a request once approved, but they don’t say whether a Google Pay payout follows that route, so don’t assume it. Our Ladbrokes withdrawal time page breaks down the stages.

  1. Make sure your account is verified before your first withdrawal; see slot site verification documents.
  2. Request at least £5, the published minimum.
  3. Pick Google Pay, or the card it points to, as the cashier suggests.
  4. Check the status in your transaction history and watch the bank statement, not Google Wallet.

Why a Google Pay casino deposit gets declined

ProblemLikely causeWhat to try
Payment refused immediatelyCredit card set as default in WalletSwitch to your debit card on the payment sheet
Bank declines gamblingGambling block on the cardLeave it on if you set it deliberately; it is doing its job
Google Pay option missingiPhone, desktop deposit, or site doesn’t offer itUse an Android device, or a debit card directly
Cashier blocks new methodThree active methods already used in 30 daysUse one of your existing methods
Deposit pendingBank or network delayWait, then contact support with the transaction ID

Avoid repeating a failed payment several times in a row. Multiple attempts can trigger fraud checks at your bank, and if one did go through, you could end up with two deposits.

Using Google Pay at Casumo, 10bet and PlayOJO

Casumo’s homepage lists Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill and Instant Banking for deposits, and doesn’t mention Google Pay. Its minimum is £10 for every method and its welcome bonus needs £20. 10bet’s help centre doesn’t list individual methods, and third-party reviews we checked don’t confirm Google Pay. PlayOJO’s methods aren’t verified. If any of these show Google Pay in the cashier when you log in, that cashier is the authority; if they don’t, a debit card directly is the nearest equivalent, and our debit card slot sites page explains that route.

Is Google Pay a safe way to pay for slots?

The payment itself is well protected: the casino receives a token, not your card number, and each deposit needs your fingerprint, face or passcode. The bigger risk is behavioural. Topping up becomes a two-second action, so put the brakes in place before you play: a deposit limit in the casino account, a session budget, and, if you want, a gambling block on the debit card itself. Losses are the likely outcome over time because of the house edge, so treat the deposit as the cost of the entertainment.

Both Coral and Ladbrokes provide deposit limits, time-outs and reality checks, covered on our Ladbrokes safer gambling page. GAMSTOP blocks every UK-licensed site in one step, and the National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133.

Where to play slots with Google Pay

Ladbrokes is listed first because its up to 500 spins (50 a day at 10p for 10 days, no wagering) give the most spin value for a £10 slots stake, and it accepts Google Pay with a £5 minimum. Coral is the alternative, with 100 spins at 10p after £10 staked on slots. 18+, new customers, terms apply; see our slot bonuses hub to compare all five.

Ladbrokes and Coral are the two partners that publish Google Pay, and neither names it among the deposit types excluded from their welcome spins. Both need £10 staked on slots, so a £5 Google Pay deposit alone won’t qualify. 18+, terms apply.

Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions

Which UK slot sites accept Google Pay?

Among the five UK-licensed casinos we cover, Coral and Ladbrokes publish Google Pay as a deposit and withdrawal method, each with a dedicated help page. Casumo, 10bet and PlayOJO don’t list Google Pay in their published information, so check their cashiers rather than assuming it is there. Other UK-licensed sites may offer it too; always confirm the site holds a Gambling Commission licence first, using our guide to checking a slot site’s licence.

What is the minimum Google Pay deposit at Coral and Ladbrokes?

The published minimum is £5 at both sites, and the minimum Google Pay withdrawal is also £5. That is lower than many other methods, where both operators simply say the minimum is shown in the cashier. Remember that the welcome spins at both sites need £10 staked on slots, so a single £5 deposit won’t unlock them. The UK cap per deposit is £2,000 on the general payments pages. Our Ladbrokes minimum deposit page explains the method-by-method picture.

Do Google Pay withdrawals go into my Google account?

No. Coral’s help centre explains that a Google Pay withdrawal is sent to the card you used through Google Pay, so it appears on your bank statement rather than inside the Google app. You can request it from a desktop browser, the mobile site or the Android app. Neither Coral nor Ladbrokes publishes a payout time specific to Google Pay, beyond the general range of instant to five banking days after approval. See how to withdraw slot winnings for the approval stage.

Can I use Google Pay for slots on an iPhone?

No, Google Pay casino deposits are an Android feature; Coral’s page lists Android phones and tablets as the supported devices. On an iPhone the equivalent is Apple Pay, which Coral, Ladbrokes and Casumo all list. The account is the same whichever device you use, so you could deposit with Google Pay on an Android tablet and play on an iPhone, but each device only offers its own wallet. Our Apple Pay slot sites page covers the iPhone side.

Does a Google Pay deposit qualify for welcome free spins?

At Coral and Ladbrokes it should, because Google Pay isn’t named in either list of excluded deposit types, but the card behind it must not be a prepaid card, which both exclude. Coral also excludes certain debit cards. You then need to stake £10 on slots: Coral gives 100 spins at 10p, and Ladbrokes gives 50 spins a day at 10p for up to 10 days. Both are 18+, no wagering on winnings, terms apply. See bet £10 get free spins for the mechanics.

Are there fees for Google Pay at slot sites?

Coral states that it charges no fees on Google Pay deposits, and both Coral and Ladbrokes say they don’t charge withdrawal fees. Google doesn’t charge you to pay with a saved debit card, and a UK debit card paying in pounds normally carries no bank fee either. The one charge to watch is currency conversion if the card is in a foreign currency. Casumo has a £3 fee on withdrawals under £10, but it doesn’t publish Google Pay. Our slot site payment methods guide compares fees by method.

Why does my Google Pay deposit keep failing at a casino?

The usual reasons are a credit card set as the default in Google Wallet, a gambling block on the debit card, or a cashier rule such as Coral’s and Ladbrokes’ limit of three active payment methods in 30 days. Check which card the payment sheet shows before you approve. If you set up a gambling block deliberately, keep it; it is working as intended. Otherwise, contact support with any transaction ID rather than retrying repeatedly. Our Coral customer service page lists contact routes.

Is Google Pay safer than typing in my card details?

In terms of card security, generally yes. The casino receives a token linked to your card rather than the card number itself, and every payment needs your fingerprint, face unlock or passcode, as Coral’s help page describes. The trade-off is speed: depositing becomes so quick that it is easy to top up on impulse. A deposit limit set in the casino account, which applies to every method, balances that out. Always use a site licensed by the Gambling Commission.

Can I withdraw less than £5 with Google Pay?

Not at Coral or Ladbrokes, where the published Google Pay withdrawal minimum is £5. If your balance is below that, you can keep it in the account or play it, but it is often better simply to leave it there until a later session. Some other methods may have different minimums shown in the cashier. Casumo charges £3 on any withdrawal under £10, though it doesn’t list Google Pay. Our fast withdrawal tips guide explains how to avoid small, slow or costly payouts.
