Apple Pay slot sites let you fund a UK casino balance from the debit card stored in your iPhone’s Wallet, approved with Face ID or Touch ID instead of typing card details. Coral, Ladbrokes and Casumo all list Apple Pay in their published payment methods, and each supports withdrawals with it too. Here is how it works underneath, and what it changes.
Coral, Ladbrokes and Casumo publish Apple Pay as both a deposit and a withdrawal method.
Apple Pay is only a wrapper: the debit card inside it decides whether a deposit is allowed, and credit cards are banned for UK gambling.
Casumo states Apple Pay withdrawals arrive instantly after approval; Coral and Ladbrokes don’t publish a separate Apple Pay payout time.
Neither Coral nor Ladbrokes names Apple Pay among the methods excluded from its welcome spins. 18+, terms apply.

Which UK slot sites accept Apple Pay
Three of the five licensed casinos we cover publish Apple Pay as a payment option: Coral, Ladbrokes and Casumo. 10bet appears in third-party reviews as accepting Apple Pay deposits, but its own help centre doesn’t list methods, so check the 10bet cashier before relying on it. PlayOJO hasn’t published a payment list we could verify, so the same applies there.

Coral and Ladbrokes share an operator, LC International Limited (UKGC account 54743), so their cashiers behave in the same way. Casumo is run by Recro Limited (account 61549). Any of them can be checked on the Gambling Commission register, as our guide to checking a slot site’s licence explains.
What happens when you pay a casino with Apple Pay
Apple Pay never hands the casino your real card number. When you add a debit card to Wallet, your bank issues a device-specific token, and that token is what travels with each payment. Coral’s help centre adds that card information is held encrypted in the Secure Element, a dedicated chip in the phone, and that every payment needs Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode.
From the casino’s side, the payment still arrives as a card transaction from your bank. That matters for three practical reasons: your bank’s rules still apply, any gambling block on that card still applies, and the casino still has to match the payment to your verified name. Apple Pay speeds up the confirmation step; it doesn’t create a separate pot of money or a separate identity.
Apple Pay is a way of presenting a card, not an account that holds a balance. If the card underneath is declined, the Apple Pay deposit is declined too.
The card inside your Wallet decides what is allowed
Coral’s Apple Pay page says only credit and debit cards can fund Apple Pay and that you can hold up to eight cards on a device. Since 14 April 2020, though, UK casinos can’t take gambling payments funded by a credit card, and that ban covers credit cards used through Apple Pay. If your default Wallet card is a credit card, the deposit will fail or be refused, so switch to the debit card before you approve.
Prepaid cards are a second trap. They can sit in Wallet like any other card, but Coral and Ladbrokes both exclude prepaid cards from qualifying for their welcome spins, and Coral also excludes certain debit cards. A deposit that goes through is not automatically a deposit that qualifies for an offer.
A worked example
Say your Wallet holds a credit card set as default, a prepaid card used for travel, and your current-account debit card. You open the Coral cashier and pick Apple Pay. If you approve with the credit card, the payment is blocked by the UK ban. If you approve with the prepaid card, the £10 can land but may not count towards the welcome spins. Only the debit card gives you both a valid deposit and a clean route for the payout later.
How to deposit at Apple Pay slot sites, step by step
Add your UK debit card to the Wallet app and confirm it with your bank.
Log in to the casino in Safari or its iPhone app and open the cashier.
Choose Apple Pay and type the amount you planned to spend this session.
Tap the Apple Pay button and check which card the payment sheet shows; tap the arrow beside it to change card if needed.
Approve with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
Wait for the success message with a transaction ID, then check the balance has updated before opening a slot.
Coral’s help centre lists these same stages and says Apple Pay deposits carry no fee from Coral. Its FAQ also mentions a timescale of one to three business days, which sits oddly beside the instant credit described in its own steps; if a deposit hasn’t appeared after a few minutes, contact support with the transaction ID rather than paying again.
iPhone app, Safari or Mac: where Apple Pay shows up
Apple Pay appears inside the casino apps and on the mobile site in Safari. Coral’s help page states Apple Pay on the web is currently available for iOS in Safari only, so if you use Chrome on an iPhone and can’t see the option, switching browser is the first thing to try. The store listings show the Coral and Ladbrokes casino apps need iOS 18 or later, while PlayOJO and Casumo list iOS 15 or later.
Casumo’s App Store listing goes furthest on payments: it mentions Apple Pay and a Quick Deposit button, along with Face ID and Touch ID login. That is convenient, and it is exactly why limits matter. Our page on playing slots on mobile covers the wider app experience, and mobile slots explains how games scale to a phone screen.
Withdrawing slot winnings with Apple Pay
All three partners that list Apple Pay also allow withdrawals with it, but the money doesn’t stay in Apple Pay. It goes back to the card behind the token, so you see it in your bank account, not in Wallet. Casumo’s published table gives Apple Pay as instantly after approval, and its homepage says withdrawals are reviewed within a matter of hours, with its withdrawal policy allowing up to three days to approve or deny.
Coral and Ladbrokes don’t publish an Apple Pay-specific time. Their help centres describe an internal review first, then anything from instant to five banking days depending on method. Because the payout lands on a debit card, it may follow the card route, but the casino doesn’t promise that, so treat timings as typical rather than fixed. Our guide to withdrawing slot winnings explains the approval stage, and fast withdrawal slot sites compares the quicker routes.
Complete identity checks early, because a first withdrawal is when KYC checks usually bite.
Withdraw to the same method you deposited with; UK casinos run closed-loop payments.
Note the request time and the status shown in your account.
Expect the payout on the debit card statement, not as an Apple Pay balance.

Coral and Ladbrokes also limit UK customers to three active payment methods in a rolling 30 days, so adding Apple Pay alongside a debit card and PayPal fills the quota. At Casumo, a £9 withdrawal would cost £3, leaving £6, so it is cheaper to wait until the balance reaches £10. Your bank shouldn’t charge for a debit payment, but check the account terms if your card is in a foreign currency.
Apple Pay and slot welcome offers
Coral’s excluded list covers Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards; Ladbrokes excludes prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers. Apple Pay isn’t named in either, which makes those two the closest fit for Apple Pay users. Casumo says game, play and payment restrictions apply to its 50% bonus, so read the full terms before using Apple Pay for it.
The numbers are modest and clear. Coral: 18+, new players, bet £10 on slots to receive 100 spins at 10p each, worth £10 in total, with 48 hours to accept, 7 days to use and no wagering on winnings. Ladbrokes: 18+, new customers, play £10 on slots for 50 spins a day at 10p for up to 10 days, a maximum of 500 spins or £50 of spin value, claimed daily from the inbox before 23:59 and valid 7 days, no wagering. Our Apple Pay free spins page covers claiming in more detail, and no wagering free spins explains why those terms matter.
Keeping Apple Pay spending in check
The thing that makes Apple Pay pleasant also removes friction from repeat deposits. Three habits help. First, set a deposit limit in the casino account, which applies whatever method you use. Second, check the Wallet transaction list after a session, which shows each casino payment against the card. Third, if you want a harder stop, many UK banks let you switch on a gambling block for a card; because Apple Pay passes the payment through that card, the block normally applies to Apple Pay too.
Slots are entertainment that costs money, and the house edge means losses are likely over time. A session budget is easier to keep when the deposit amount is chosen before the cashier opens, not during a losing run. If gambling stops feeling like a choice, the National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) is free and open 24/7, and GAMSTOP blocks all UK-licensed sites at once.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Apple Pay at UK slot sites?
Yes, several licensed UK slot sites accept Apple Pay, including Coral, Ladbrokes and Casumo, which all list it for deposits and withdrawals. You add a debit card to Wallet, choose Apple Pay in the cashier and approve with Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode. 10bet is reported by reviews to accept it but doesn’t publish its own list, and PlayOJO’s methods aren’t verified, so check those cashiers first. Our slot site payment methods guide compares the alternatives if Apple Pay isn’t offered.
Can I use a credit card in Apple Pay to gamble?
No. Since 14 April 2020, UK-licensed casinos can’t accept gambling payments funded by a credit card, and that includes credit cards added to Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. If your default Wallet card is a credit card, the deposit should be refused. Switch to a debit card on the payment sheet before you approve. The rule exists to stop people gambling with borrowed money, and it applies at every licensed site, not just the ones we cover. More detail is in our UK slot rules guide.
How long do Apple Pay withdrawals take at slot sites?
It depends on the site, and only Casumo publishes a specific Apple Pay time: instantly after approval. Casumo says it reviews withdrawals within a matter of hours, with up to three days allowed by its policy. Coral and Ladbrokes support Apple Pay payouts but give only a general range of instant to five banking days after their internal review. The money goes back to the card behind the token, not to Wallet. See fast withdrawal slot sites for the quickest published routes.
Does an Apple Pay deposit count for free spins offers?
At Coral and Ladbrokes it should, because neither names Apple Pay among the deposit types excluded from its welcome spins, but the card behind Apple Pay still matters. Prepaid cards are excluded at both, and Coral also excludes certain debit cards. Casumo states payment restrictions apply to its 50% bonus, so read the terms. All offers are 18+ and terms apply. Our Apple Pay free spins page walks through claiming each one step by step.
Is Apple Pay safe for online slots?
Apple Pay is one of the more secure ways to pay a casino, because the site receives a device token instead of your card number and each payment needs biometric or passcode approval. Coral’s help centre says card details sit encrypted in the phone’s Secure Element chip. Security still depends on the site being genuine, so only use casinos licensed by the Gambling Commission. Our guide on spotting unlicensed slot sites shows the warning signs to look for before depositing.
Why can’t I see Apple Pay in the casino cashier?
The most common reason is the browser: Coral says Apple Pay on the web currently works on iOS in Safari only, so Chrome or another browser on an iPhone may hide it. Other causes are no card set up in Wallet, an outdated iOS version for the casino app, or a site that simply doesn’t offer Apple Pay. The Coral and Ladbrokes casino apps list iOS 18 or later. If it still won’t appear, contact support, or use a debit card directly; see our Coral app page.
Are there fees for using Apple Pay at slot sites?
Coral states that Apple Pay deposits carry no fee, and Coral and Ladbrokes say they don’t charge withdrawal fees. Casumo charges £3 on any withdrawal below £10, whichever method you use, so a £10 or larger withdrawal avoids it. Apple doesn’t charge you for paying with a debit card, and UK banks don’t normally charge for a debit payment in pounds. A currency conversion fee could apply if your card is in another currency. Check the Casumo withdrawal time page for its full payout terms.
Is there a minimum deposit with Apple Pay?
Casumo publishes a £10 minimum for all payment methods, including Apple Pay, and needs £20 for its welcome bonus. Coral and Ladbrokes say the minimum is shown in the cashier rather than publishing an Apple Pay figure; they publish £5 only for Google Pay and Pay by Bank. Both cap UK deposits at £2,000 per transaction. To unlock Coral’s or Ladbrokes’ spins you need to stake £10 on slots, so a smaller deposit won’t qualify. Our Coral minimum deposit page has more detail.
Can I use Apple Pay on an iPad or Mac for slots?
Usually, yes, provided the device supports Apple Pay and the casino offers it on that platform. Coral’s help page lists in-app support on Apple Watch, iPhone and several iPad models, and the casino apps from Coral and Ladbrokes run on iPad and on Macs with Apple silicon, according to the App Store. On the web, Coral says Apple Pay currently works in mobile Safari. Larger screens make paytables easier to read; see our guide to playing slots on iPad for tablet tips.
Can a bank gambling block stop Apple Pay casino deposits?
In most cases it can, because an Apple Pay casino payment is processed as a transaction on the underlying debit card, so a gambling block on that card normally catches it. Many UK banks offer such blocks in their apps, often with a cooling-off delay before you can switch them off. For a broader barrier, combine the block with GAMSTOP and casino deposit limits. Our guide on how to block gambling sites sets out the layers, and the National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
