What Jammin’ Jars 2 changes from the original

The first Jammin’ Jars was built on one mechanic: wild jars whose multipliers grow as they join wins. The sequel keeps the 8 × 8 grid, the fruit, the funk and the jars, but layers several new systems on top and more than doubles the ceiling, from 20,000x to 50,000x. The look shifts too, with a DJ at the side of the grid running the show.

That is a lot of moving parts. The sections below take them one at a time, in the order you are likely to meet them.

Cluster pays on the 8 × 8 grid

A win needs at least 5 matching fruits touching side to side or top to bottom. There are no paylines, so the 64 positions can produce several cluster pays wins in one spin. Bigger clusters pay much more than small ones, and the paytable at your stake shows the values in pounds.

Fruit clusters are the bread and butter of the base game. Most are small and pay less than the stake, which UK rules stop the game from celebrating as a win. The other features exist to turn those small clusters into bigger ones.

Wild Jars and how their multipliers apply

Wild Jars substitute for fruit and carry a multiplier. Push Gaming’s description of the sequel is specific: when a Wild Jar lands next to a paying cluster, its multiplier is added to that cluster’s win. Two jars next to the same cluster both contribute.

A worked example at 50p a spin: a cluster worth 2x (£1) sits beside a jar showing 3x and another showing 4x. If the jar values are added together and applied to the cluster, it pays 7x the cluster value, or £7. The exact rule for combining values is in the help screen; the example only shows why jars beside big clusters drive the largest base-game hits.

The Gold Vinyl meter and the Giga Jar

Gold Vinyls can land on the reels in the base game. Each one flies up into a meter next to the DJ. When the meter reaches MAX, you get a chance to trigger the Giga Jar feature. A chance, not a certainty: a full meter doesn’t always lead to the bonus.

It lands either as a 2 × 2 jar block or as a paying 3 × 3 or 4 × 4 Instant Prize block, and awards 8 Giga Spins. Instant Prize symbols landing during the feature can add 1 or 2 spins. When it ends, a new Giga Jar appears at level 2, 3 or 4.

  1. Collect Gold Vinyls in the base game to fill the DJ’s meter.
  2. At MAX, the game may trigger the Giga Jar.
  3. The Giga Jar lands as a 2 × 2 jar or a 3 × 3 or 4 × 4 paying Instant Prize block.
  4. You play 8 Giga Spins; Instant Prizes can add 1 or 2 more.
  5. When the spins end, a new Giga Jar is set at level 2, 3 or 4.

Instant Prizes and Fruit Blast

Instant Prizes land on blue tiles in both the base game and the free spins, each showing a value of up to 1,000x. Five or more adjacent Instant Prizes turn purple and form their own paying cluster, so a group of prize tiles can pay twice over: once as prizes and once as a cluster.

Fruit Blast can happen at any time. An equaliser covers the reels, and the DJ fires one to three giant fruit shots. Each shot bursts into a cluster of a single fruit type, and wins are paid. It is the sequel’s answer to the original’s Rainbow feature, and its frequency is built into the RTP.

Jammin’ Jars 2 free spins

Three or more Wild Jar symbols in one spin award 6 free spins. Wild Jar multipliers keep working the same way in the round, being added to neighbouring paying clusters, and Instant Prizes can land too. Push Gaming’s page doesn’t mention retriggers, so check the help screen for the rule in your version.

Six spins is a short round, and many end with a modest total. The big outcomes come when high-value jars sit beside large clusters or Instant Prize groups. In Great Britain you can’t buy the round; see our page on bonus buy slots for why.

Jammin’ Jars 2 RTP: two sets of published figures

The default version was published at launch with an RTP of 96.1% rising to 96.6%. Push Gaming’s current game page instead lists two figures, 96.40% and 94.40%, and notes that RTP can vary by casino in some markets. The game shows its live RTP at the top left of the loading screen, so that is the number to trust.

RTPAverage returnAverage cost
96.6%£96.60£3.40
96.40%£96.40£3.60
96.1%£96.10£3.90
94.40%£94.40£5.60

Across the range, the gap between the best and worst figures is £2.20 per £100. That doesn’t change how a single session feels, but over many sessions it adds up. Our page on why RTP differs between casinos explains how operators choose.

High volatility and the 50,000x max win

Jammin’ Jars 2 is high volatility, with its value concentrated in rare events: the Giga Jar, big Instant Prize clusters and multiplied jar wins. A £50 budget at 25p gives 200 spins; on a game like this, it is common for those 200 spins to include no Giga Jar at all.

The 50,000x max win is £5,000 at 10p, £12,500 at 25p and £50,000 at £1. Push Gaming lists it as the highest observed win. It is the top of a very long tail; nearly all features pay far less, and most sessions finish below the starting balance.

UK rules and demo play

In Great Britain, Jammin’ Jars 2 follows the UK slot rules: no autoplay or turbo, at least 2.5 seconds per spin, no celebration of sub-stake returns, net position on screen, and stake caps of £5 (25+) or £2 (18–24). An age-verified demo is available at some sites; our free slots guide explains how demos work and what they can’t tell you.

Pros, cons and who should play Jammin’ Jars 2

Advantages

  • Many features keep the grid lively.
  • Gold Vinyl meter shows progress towards the Giga Jar.
  • 50,000x ceiling, among the highest of any cluster slot here.

Drawbacks

  • Conflicting published RTP figures, so the loading screen must be checked.
  • Only 6 free spins in the standard round.
  • A full meter only gives a chance at the Giga Jar, not a guaranteed trigger.

It suits players who already enjoy high volatility slots and like busy, feature-rich games. If you prefer one clear mechanic, the original is easier to follow.

Frequently asked questions

What is the RTP of Jammin’ Jars 2?

Jammin’ Jars 2’s default version was published with an RTP of 96.1% rising to 96.6%. Push Gaming’s current game page lists 96.40% and 94.40% versions and notes that RTP can vary by casino. The game shows its live figure at the top left of the loading screen, which is the one to rely on. On £100 staked, those figures mean an average cost of £3.40 to £5.60. Our RTP guide explains what the number means.

How do you trigger the Giga Jar in Jammin’ Jars 2?

Collect Gold Vinyls in the base game to fill the meter beside the DJ. When it reaches MAX, you get a chance to trigger the Giga Jar, though a full meter doesn’t always lead to it. It lands as a 2 × 2 jar or a 3 × 3 or 4 × 4 Instant Prize block and awards 8 Giga Spins. Don’t chase a nearly full meter. Our slot myths page explains why.

How many free spins do you get on Jammin’ Jars 2?

Three or more Wild Jar symbols award 6 free spins on Jammin’ Jars 2. During the round, each Wild Jar’s multiplier is added to any paying cluster next to it, and Instant Prizes can also land. Push Gaming’s page doesn’t mention retriggers, so check the help screen. The Giga Jar is a separate bonus with 8 Giga Spins. Our free spins feature definition explains how bonus rounds are built.

What is the max win on Jammin’ Jars 2?

The max win on Jammin’ Jars 2 is 50,000x your stake, which is £5,000 at 10p and £50,000 at £1. Push Gaming lists it as the highest observed win. Reaching it needs high-value Wild Jars beside very large clusters or Instant Prize blocks, which is extremely rare. Most features pay a tiny fraction of the cap. Our biggest slot win UK page looks at how rare top-end results are.

What are Instant Prizes in Jammin’ Jars 2?

Instant Prizes are symbols that land on blue tiles in both the base game and the free spins, each showing a value of up to 1,000x your stake. When five or more sit next to each other, they turn purple and form their own paying cluster. They also play a part in the Giga Jar, where they can add 1 or 2 extra Giga Spins. Our cash collect definition covers similar prize symbols.

What is Fruit Blast in Jammin’ Jars 2?

Fruit Blast is a random feature that can happen at any time. An equaliser covers the reels, and the Giga Jar DJ fires one to three giant fruit shots. Each shot bursts into a cluster made up of one fruit type, and the resulting wins are paid. It replaces the Rainbow feature from the original game, and its frequency is already counted in the RTP. Our slot features guide explains other random modifiers.

Is Jammin’ Jars 2 better than Jammin' Jars?

Neither is better; they suit different tastes. The original has a higher published top RTP of 96.83% and a simpler design built around growing jar multipliers, with a 20,000x ceiling. The sequel adds the Gold Vinyl meter, Giga Jar, Instant Prizes and Fruit Blast, and lifts the ceiling to 50,000x, at the cost of complexity. Both are high volatility. Our Jammin' Jars review covers the original in full.

Can you buy the bonus on Jammin’ Jars 2 in the UK?

No, there is no bonus buy for players in Great Britain. Feature buys aren’t offered to British players, so the free spins can only be triggered by landing three or more Wild Jars, and the Giga Jar only through the Gold Vinyl meter. Some international versions of Push Gaming slots include a buy option, but not UK ones. Our page on whether you can buy bonuses on UK slots explains the rule.

Can I play Jammin’ Jars 2 for free?

Yes, a Jammin’ Jars 2 demo is available at some UK sites once you have verified your age, which has been required for free casino games in Great Britain since 2019. The demo is useful for learning how the meter, Giga Jar and Instant Prizes interact. Play credits have no cash value, and demo results don’t predict real-money play. Our demo mode definition explains how free play works.
