Kalamba slots come from Kalamba Games, a studio with offices in Malta and Kraków that builds its games on its own BullsEyeRGS platform. It is known for branded features such as PrizeTower, K-Cash and HyperBet, and for hold-and-win titles like Triple Nugget Trail. This page explains those features, what bet levels really cost and how to read a Kalamba game.
Kalamba Games was co-founded by Steve Cutler, Alex Cohen and Michał Ochman and has offices in Zebbug, Malta, and Kraków, Poland.
It holds Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2B/861/2020 and runs its own platform, BullsEyeRGS.
Branded features include PrizeTower, K-Cash, HyperBet and Fix&Spin; read each game’s rules for how they work.
Any bet-level option that raises your cost per spin raises your expected cost too, and UK stake caps still apply.

Who makes Kalamba slots?
Kalamba Games is an international slot studio with two bases: Kalamba Games Limited in Zebbug, Malta, and a development office in Kraków, Poland. It was co-founded by Steve Cutler, Alex Cohen and Michał Ochman. Unlike many studios of its size, it runs its own remote gaming server, BullsEyeRGS, which it says connects its games to more than 1,400 partners.
Earlier in its life, Kalamba was one of the studios in Relax Gaming’s Silver Bullet programme, alongside Fantasma Games, according to trade press. That background is why Kalamba games are often mentioned in the same breath as studios such as Print Studios and Fantasma. Today its own platform carries most of the distribution work.

We couldn’t confirm a Gambling Commission licence in Kalamba’s own name. Games offered to British players must reach the casino through a route that meets UK rules, and the casino must hold its own UKGC licence, which you can check with our guide to checking a slot site’s licence. Kash Drops is a casino-run promotion tool; our guide to slot prize drops explains how such promotions usually work and what terms to read.
Kalamba’s branded slot features
Kalamba labels its mechanics with brand names, which makes them easy to spot in a game title but hard to understand from the title alone. Here is what the studio itself says about each, and what to check:
Feature
Where it appears
What Kalamba’s site says
What to check in the game
PrizeTower
40 Wild Chase PrizeTower
Climb a tower with 8 Cashpots, Instant Wins and wilds
How you move up the tower and what each Cashpot pays
K-Cash
Ninjaz vs Narcos 2
K-Cash symbols
How K-Cash values are collected and when
HyperBet
Ninjaz vs Narcos 2
Three levels of HyperBet
Whether each level raises your stake, and what it changes
Fix&Spin
Named in Kalamba’s feature list
Not described on its main pages
The game’s rules screen
Because the studio’s own pages describe these features only briefly, the help screen inside each game is the authority. Never assume a branded feature works the same way in two different titles.
What a bet level like HyperBet costs you
Kalamba says Ninjaz vs Narcos 2 offers three levels of HyperBet but doesn’t explain them on its site. In the wider industry, optional bet levels usually raise the cost of each spin in exchange for different feature odds, the same idea as an ante bet. If a HyperBet level raises your stake, the maths below applies.
Setting
Cost per spin
Staked over 200 spins
Expected cost at 96% RTP
Standard
£0.50
£100
£4
Bet level raises cost by 50%
£0.75
£150
£6
Bet level doubles cost
£1.00
£200
£8
The 96% figure is illustrative, not Kalamba’s. The point holds for any RTP: paying more per spin means more money at risk per hour, even if features arrive more often. In the UK the £5 (age 25+) or £2 (age 18–24) cap applies to what each spin costs, so a bet level can’t take you past it. Our page on what stake to play helps you set a figure first.
PrizeTower and Instant Wins: a worked example
40 Wild Chase PrizeTower is a 5×4 game. Kalamba’s game page says eight Cashpot prizes sit on the tower, five symbols trigger the first level, and when five or more Crown symbols land, the values on them are added together and paid as an Instant Win. Here is how an Instant Win adds up, using made-up values at a 40p stake:
Five Crowns land showing 1×, 2×, 1×, 5× and 3× the stake.
Total: 1 + 2 + 1 + 5 + 3 = 12× the stake.
At 40p, that pays 12 × 40p = £4.80, on top of any line wins.
Real values are on the game’s paytable. Features like this are close cousins of cash collect slots, where symbol values are summed rather than paid along lines.
Kalamba hold and win slots
Hold and win is one of Kalamba’s favourite formats. Titles named on its site include Triple Nugget Trail Hold and Win, a 5×3 gold-rush game with nugget hits and treasure carts, and Hot Hats Hold and Win. In a typical hold and win round, value symbols lock in place, you get a set number of respins, and each new value symbol resets the count. The round ends when the respins run out, and the locked values are paid. A full example is in how hold and win works, and our hold and win slots page compares studios.
Kalamba slots to look for
Kalamba’s featured games include Triple Nugget Trail Hold and Win, 40 Wild Chase PrizeTower, Pyramid Piggies (a 6×4 game with 4,096 ways to win), Jelly Dream Burst (a candy-themed tumble game with win multipliers) and Ninjaz vs Narcos 2. Its wider catalogue lists titles such as Scary Cherry 7s, Digging Frenzy, Sacred Riches, Joker Raving Respins, Bisonado 2 PrizeMatch and Moonburst Express.
We don’t hold verified RTP, volatility or max win figures for Kalamba games, and the studio’s game pages we read left those fields blank. Check each game’s help screen at your casino.
Jelly Dream Burst will appeal to fans of candy slots, while Scary Cherry 7s nods to classic slots with its sevens and fruit.
How to read a Kalamba slot before you play
Open the game’s help or ‘i’ screen before placing a stake.
Find the RTP; if several figures are shown, note which one applies to your bet setting.
Look for any bet-level option, such as HyperBet, and check exactly what it adds to the cost of a spin.
Read how the branded feature in the title (PrizeTower, K-Cash or similar) triggers and pays.
Find the max win statement and convert it into pounds at your stake, then set a budget before you start.
Some Kalamba games, such as Jelly Dream Burst, include a BuyBonus option in other markets. Feature buys are not offered to players in Great Britain, so UK versions trigger features only from the reels. British rules also require at least 2.5 seconds per spin, ban autoplay and turbo, and cap each spin at £5 for players aged 25 and over or £2 for 18 to 24. Demo play needs age verification. Our bonus buy slots page explains the background.

Frequently asked questions
Where is Kalamba Games based?
Kalamba Games has two main bases: Kalamba Games Limited in Zebbug, Malta, and Kalamba Games Sp. z o.o. in Kraków, Poland, where much of the development work happens. The studio describes itself as an international games studio and was co-founded by Steve Cutler, Alex Cohen and Michał Ochman. It holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence, MGA/B2B/861/2020, and runs its own platform, BullsEyeRGS. Our slot providers hub lists where other studios are based, for comparison.
What is HyperBet in Kalamba slots?
HyperBet is a Kalamba bet option offered at three levels in Ninjaz vs Narcos 2, but the studio’s site doesn’t explain what each level does. Optional bet levels in slots usually raise the cost of each spin in exchange for changed feature odds, like an ante bet. Before using one, check the game’s help screen to see exactly how much it adds per spin. If it raises your stake, your expected cost per hour rises with it. Our ante bet glossary entry explains the maths.
What is a PrizeTower slot?
A PrizeTower slot is a Kalamba game with a prize ladder beside the reels; in 40 Wild Chase PrizeTower, the tower holds eight Cashpot prizes, and five symbols trigger the first level. The same game pays Instant Wins when five or more Crown symbols land, adding their values together. The studio doesn’t fully explain how you climb beyond the first level, so read the game’s rules. Features like this work much like a cash collect mechanic, where values are summed rather than paid on lines.
What are the best Kalamba slots?
Kalamba’s featured titles include Triple Nugget Trail Hold and Win, 40 Wild Chase PrizeTower, Pyramid Piggies, Jelly Dream Burst and Ninjaz vs Narcos 2. Which suits you depends on format: hold and win fans will look at Triple Nugget Trail, ways-to-win players at Pyramid Piggies with 4,096 ways, and tumble fans at Jelly Dream Burst. We don’t publish ratings or figures for these games because we haven’t verified the numbers. Use our how to choose a slot checklist to compare them.
Is Kalamba licensed in the UK?
We couldn’t confirm a Gambling Commission licence in Kalamba’s own name; its site lists a Malta Gaming Authority licence, MGA/B2B/861/2020, issued on 11 October 2021. A game shown to British players has to be supplied in a way that satisfies UK rules, and the operator needs its own UKGC licence too. If a UK site lists Kalamba games, check the casino on the public register before depositing. The warning signs of a site to avoid are listed in how to spot unlicensed slot sites.
Can you buy bonuses on Kalamba slots in the UK?
No, you can’t buy bonuses on Kalamba slots in the UK, because feature buys are not offered to players in Great Britain. Some Kalamba games, such as Jelly Dream Burst, include a BuyBonus option in other markets, but the British versions only trigger features from the reels. If a bet-level option such as HyperBet is offered, it is not the same thing as a buy, but it can still raise the cost per spin. Our page on buying bonuses on UK slots explains the rule.
Does Kalamba make hold and win slots?
Yes, hold and win is one of Kalamba’s main formats, with titles such as Triple Nugget Trail Hold and Win and Hot Hats Hold and Win. In these games, value symbols lock in place during a respin round, each new value symbol usually resets the respin count, and the locked values are paid when the round ends. Exact rules, such as how many respins you get, differ by game, so read the help screen. Our hold and win slots page compares the format across studios.
What is BullsEyeRGS?
BullsEyeRGS is Kalamba’s own remote gaming server, the system that runs its games and connects them to casino sites. Kalamba says it links to more than 1,400 partners and supports both promotions tools, such as Kash Drops, tournaments and leaderboards, and different currencies. For players, the platform is invisible: the game you open looks the same whatever server runs it, and the casino remains responsible for its licence and terms. Our guide to how slots are made explains where a gaming server fits in.
