Betano slots in Great Britain are provided under a licence held by BV Gaming Limited (UKGC account 39576), not by Betano's owner. The brand belongs to Kaizen Gaming and arrived in the UK in May 2024 as a white-label site on BetVictor's licence. Here is what that arrangement means for a slot player, and how to verify it.
Betano is owned by Kaizen Gaming, but its UK licence holder is BV Gaming Limited, UKGC account 39576.
The UKGC register lists betano.co.uk as a white-label domain on that account.
Betano launched in the UK in May 2024; the same licence also covers BetVictor, Parimatch and talkSPORT BET.
UK slot rules apply in full: £5 or £2 stake caps, 2.5-second spins, no bonus buy and 10x maximum wagering.
We don't partner with Betano; the offers on this page come from sites we work with.

Betano slots: brand owner versus licence holder
Two companies stand behind the Betano name in Britain. Kaizen Gaming owns the brand, its design and its marketing; the company is Athens-based and says it operates in around 20 markets with more than 3,000 staff. The UK Gambling Commission licence, though, belongs to BV Gaming Limited, the Gibraltar company behind BetVictor.
That split is common in UK gambling and has a name: a white-label arrangement. It doesn't make a site more or less safe. It does change whose name you will find in the terms, who processes your withdrawals and who answers to the regulator.
What a white-label licence means for Betano players
In a white label, a licensed operator runs a website under another company's brand. The licensee supplies the regulated core: the account system, identity checks, payments, the game platform and compliance. The brand owner supplies the look, the name and often the sports expertise. The table below shows where responsibility usually sits.
The practical rule is simple: when you read Betano's terms, look for the licensee's name in the opening paragraphs. That is the company you have a contract with.
Other brands on Betano's UKGC licence
Account 39576 lists ten domain names. BetVictor's own sites are active, one old domain is inactive, and six carry a white-label status. Betano shares that list with some familiar names.

Our neutral profiles of BetVictor, Parimatch and Heart Bingo cover the other brands. One consequence of a shared licence: a licence-level sanction or condition would reach all of them. When the register was checked, it listed no regulatory actions against BV Gaming Limited.
How Betano came to the UK in May 2024
Kaizen Gaming built Betano as a sports-betting brand in continental Europe and Latin America before turning to Britain. Rather than applying for its own UK licence, it entered the market in May 2024 through BV Gaming Limited. That route lets a brand launch on an operator's existing licence, payment links and game platform, which tends to be quicker than building UK infrastructure from scratch.
For slot players, the result is a site whose casino side runs on a licensee that has offered remote casino games in Britain since November 2014, when the current licensing regime began.
What kind of slot site Betano is
Betano is a sports-led brand with a sportsbook, casino and live casino. Its slots sit next to the betting product rather than being the main event. We haven't verified a game count or particular titles, so we don't list them; open the casino lobby and filter by studio to see what is live.
When you find a game that interests you, its info screen holds the figures that matter. A version of a slot running at 94% RTP costs £6 per £100 staked in theory, against £3.50 for a 96.5% version of the same game. Many slots come in several versions, as our RTP range entry explains, so compare the published figure with what the developer advertises.
UK rules that apply to Betano slots
Because the licence is British, every slot on the site follows the same rules you'd meet at any UKGC-licensed casino.
Stake caps: £5 a spin for players aged 25 and over, £2 for those aged 18 to 24. Our stake limit entry covers how sites apply them.
Spin speed: at least 2.5 seconds per slot spin, no autoplay, no turbo and no slam stop.
Feature buy: not offered to players in Great Britain.
Wagering: bonus wagering capped at 10x since 19 January 2026, and no promotions that combine sport and casino.
Payments: no credit cards, including through e-wallets funded by a credit card.
The cross-product ban matters most for sports-led brands like Betano. A promotion such as "place a football bet and get slot spins" can no longer be offered in Great Britain, so any casino offer must be a casino offer only.
How to check Betano on the UKGC register
Because the name on the licence is different from the brand, a quick search for "Betano" on the register may not bring it up. Search by account number instead.
Find the licence statement in the betano.co.uk footer and note the company and account number.
Open the UK Gambling Commission public register and choose to search businesses.
Enter 39576 and open the BV Gaming Limited record.
Check that the casino licence status is Active.
Open Domain names and confirm betano.co.uk is listed, with a White Label status.
Look at Regulatory actions for any published sanctions.
Deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion are licence conditions, so the licensee must provide them whatever the brand looks like. Setting a deposit limit before your first deposit is the simplest step; our guide to setting a slot session budget helps you pick a figure. GAMSTOP blocks you from every UK-licensed site in one go. Frequently asked questions
Who is Betano's licence holder in the UK?
Betano's UK licence holder is BV Gaming Limited, UKGC account 39576, the Gibraltar company behind BetVictor. Betano itself is owned by Kaizen Gaming, which runs the brand under a white-label arrangement. That means BV Gaming Limited is legally responsible for your account, identity checks, payments and complaints in Great Britain. The register lists betano.co.uk as a white-label domain on account 39576. Our UKGC entry explains how the regulator oversees licence holders.
Is Betano safe to use in the UK?
Betano operates under a valid UK Gambling Commission licence, which is the main safeguard for British players. When the register was checked on 20 October 2026, BV Gaming Limited's remote casino licence was active and listed no regulatory actions. A licence requires tested games, identity checks, segregation rules disclosed in the terms and safer gambling tools. It doesn't mean you will win: slots return less than you stake over time. See are slots rigged for how UK games are tested.
When did Betano launch in the UK?
Betano launched in the UK in May 2024. Kaizen Gaming, which owns the brand, entered Britain through a white-label arrangement with BV Gaming Limited rather than by applying for a licence of its own. That gave it access to an existing licence, payment set-up and game platform. Before then, Betano was known mainly for sports betting in other European and Latin American markets. Other new arrivals are covered on our new slot sites page.
What does white label mean for a slot site?
A white-label slot site is a brand run by a licensed operator on someone else's behalf. The licensee holds the UKGC licence and handles the regulated parts: accounts, verification, payments, games and compliance. The brand owner supplies the name, design and marketing. For players the key point is that terms, withdrawals and complaints run through the licensee, so that's the name to look for. Our guide on choosing a slot site covers what else to check.
Is Betano the same company as Parimatch?
No, Betano and Parimatch are owned by different companies, but both use the same UK licence holder. Betano belongs to Kaizen Gaming and Parimatch is a separate brand; in Great Britain both are white-label sites run by BV Gaming Limited under account 39576. They therefore share the licensed operator for regulatory purposes while having their own sites and promotions. Read our Parimatch profile for the brand's background.
Can I buy bonus features on Betano slots?
No. Feature buy isn't offered to players in Great Britain on any UKGC-licensed site, so slots on Betano's UK site run without the option to pay for a bonus round. You can only trigger free spins and other features through normal play. Other UK design rules also apply: no autoplay, at least 2.5 seconds per spin and no turbo. Our guide to how bonus buys work explains why the regulator took them away.
What is the maximum stake on Betano slots?
The maximum stake on any online slot at a UK-licensed site, including Betano, is £5 a spin if you are 25 or over. Players aged 18 to 24 are limited to £2 a spin. These caps came in during April and May 2025 and apply to every slot, whatever the game's own maximum bet is elsewhere. A bonus can carry a lower cap of its own. The details are in our UK slot stake limits guide.
Can Betano offer sports bets that unlock slot spins?
No. Since 19 January 2026, UK-licensed operators can't run promotions that mix gambling products, so a sports bet can't be the qualifying step for a casino or slot reward. This affects sports-led brands such as Betano in particular. Any slot promotion now has to be a slot promotion only, and its wagering can't exceed 10x the bonus. Our 10x wagering slots bonus page shows what that cap means in pounds.
How do I find Betano on the Gambling Commission register?
Search the register by account number 39576 rather than by the Betano name, because the licence belongs to BV Gaming Limited. Open that record, confirm the remote casino licence is active, then check the Domain names tab, where betano.co.uk appears with a White Label status. The Regulatory actions tab shows any published sanctions. Our step-by-step guide to checking a slot site's licence walks through each tab in turn.
