Who holds the licence for Spin Genie slots

Spin Genie is a trading name of Skill On Net Limited, often written SkillOnNet. The UK Gambling Commission's register gives its account number as 39326 and its head office as Limassol in Cyprus. Both spingenie.com and spingenie.co.uk are listed under that account, and the brand has also launched in Ontario, Canada, according to a press release announcing the move.

The casino licence is the one that covers slots. The gambling software licence reflects the company's other role as a platform supplier: it builds and runs the casino technology that many brands sit on.

One platform, many brands: what that means for you

The register shows 53 trading names and 61 domain names on account 39326. That scale is typical of a platform operator, a company that provides the account system, cashier, game integrations, compliance team and UKGC licence, while each brand brings its own name, design and marketing.

For a slot player, the practical effects are worth knowing before you sign up:

• Verification: identity, age and affordability checks are run to the licensee's policy, so the documents asked for tend to be similar across its brands. Our guide to slot site verification documents lists the usual ones.
• Safer gambling: deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion come from the same rulebook. Ask whether an exclusion on one brand blocks the others.
• Complaints: your contract is with Skill On Net Limited, so complaints and any independent dispute process go through that company.
• Enforcement: any action against the licensee covers every brand on the account.

Spin Genie sister sites on licence 39326

The best-known brands sharing the licence are listed below. Some are SkillOnNet's own, others are white labels where a different business owns the name. PlayOJO is one of the five sites we work with; we list it here only because it shares the licence.

The genie theme and the kind of slots it signals

The brand's name and mascot borrow from the Arabian Nights, a theme slot studios have used for years. Genie slots usually lean on wishes, lamps and treasure, often paired with pick-and-reveal bonuses or jackpot wheels. Blueprint's Genie Jackpots, for example, is listed with a 96.49% RTP on 20 paylines across five reels and three rows, and medium volatility. Our page on magic and wizard slots covers related themes.

A site's branding says little about its lobby, though. Platform casinos usually draw on the same pool of studio integrations, so the mix of games is shaped more by the platform's supplier deals than by the mascot. Search for a specific title rather than assuming it is there.

How to judge the Spin Genie slots lobby yourself

We don't publish game counts for sites we haven't verified, and lobbies change weekly. Instead, these checks will tell you whether any lobby suits the way you play.

Our slot review checklist uses the same logic for individual games.

A worked example: the same budget on two kinds of slot

Say you bring £50 to any slot site and play at 25p a spin. That is 200 spins. On a low-volatility game such as Starburst (96.09% RTP, 500x max win), small wins land often and the balance tends to drift down slowly, so 200 spins usually lasts a while. On a high-volatility game such as Book of Dead (96.21% RTP, 5,000x max win), long runs of losing spins are normal and the budget can be gone well before 200 spins, though a single feature can return many times the stake.

The theoretical cost is almost identical: about £1.96 on Starburst and £1.90 on Book of Dead for £50 staked. What differs is the shape of the ride. Our volatility guide explains how to choose.

Regulatory record for Skill On Net Limited

The register currently lists no regulatory actions against Skill On Net Limited. Published records for its sister sites show a £305,150 settlement with the company in May 2023. The register's actions tab does not always keep older entries, so for a full history it is worth searching the Commission's news archive for the company name as well.
